Walking in Memphis

We went downtown on hot Saturday night just to see the sights and let me take a few pictures.
They were having boat
races on the mighty Mississippi River and had a festival going on.

Of course I had to take pictures of the horses in front of the Peabody.

Then what I had been waiting for--the sun setting over the river.

I couldn't pick my favorites so I will post more on my next one.
