Sunset is an hour for quiet reflection. There can be no replay of the day, except in fleeting memory. There can be no rewriting of the script etched upon these hours. With the indelible ink of eternity there has been inscribed upon the page of this eternal sheet of time with something of value or only what is in vain. (W. Phillip Keller)
Psalm 50:1 “The Mighty One, God the Lord speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.”

Thank you for sharing this wonderful Scripture and Quote. To sit quietly watching the Sunset and mediating on everything God does in our daily lives is an awesome blessing! May the week ahead for you be filled with God's Blessings. In His Love, Kerrie. xOx
ReplyDeleteWatching the sunset is one of my favorite things to do. It's a time of quiet reflection, of slowing down, of taking time to listen to that Still Small Voice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo!
Blessings,

the picture is great....watching the sun go down....is as if He's putting us all to sleep with love.
ReplyDeleteHow nice! I love sunsets and sunrises. I am fortunate to see many on my daily commute to work. From Whidbey island, in Washington State, we look east and see the sun rising over the Cascade Mountains. To the west, we see it set over the water with the Olympic Mountains as a backdrop. Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the lovely quote and scripture. It was a great way to start my weekend.
