Two Timid Calves

I always enjoy taking pictures of the new calves down the road

"No I am Not your daddy!'
"Board Meeting?"
"Like a calf looking at a new gate."

I linked up today with ABC Wednesday and illustrated the letter "T" for more go to ABC Wednesday

  2. I never see baby calves here, which seems surprising for Wisconsin...I think the farms are just too big and the babies are hidden from view. We do have horses down the road from us. I often stop for a few minutes in the morning...a great sight to start the day!

  3. We first thought about calves (before goats) and that last little one is the reason why. I just couldn't bear to see them grown up and wind up in the freezer! Nice pics...

  4. We raised a few calves one summer, loved giving them their pail of milk in the morning, raised them until they could fit in the freezer, I had to leave the house and go to town on that special day.

  5. I never really thought about it that way. A cute puppy just becomes a dog but calves usually have a sadder future. Maybe we can hope these will be milk cows.
