He Knows My Thoughts

"When the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, 'If this man were a prophet...' Jesus answered him..."(Lk. 7:39)----Christ holds us responsible for the things we say to ourselves. He reads our minds. My heart and mind are of greater importance to Him than my words and deeds. Our innermost places need daily purification. Part of the process is recognizing and confessing the judgmental, impure or critical thoughts before they can make their way to our mouths and our actions (Beth Moore-Jesus the One and Only).
Matt. 9:4 "Knowing their thoughts..."
Ps. 139:4 "Before a word is on my tongue, You know it completely, O Lord."
And my daily request to God---"Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord and keep watch over the door of my lips." Ps. 141:3

  4. I'm thankful for the Holy Spirit who check me before I speak. Some times I haven't been still enough to listen and I fail to let Jesus shine.
