Spring means Tornados

I was heading out about noon today because even though the tornado sirens were going off, I heard the tornado was across town and not near me. 
 I saw this cloud about a mile from the house and thought I would take a few pictures. THEN the wind was suddenly blowing sideways and limbs and twigs  flying everywhere ( I was watching for the cow). I turned around and made it back home and waited 15 minutes then headed out again. On the road I just came from there was one tree that went through a car and cut it in half and another tree blocking the road.  Scary trip.

    Oh my goodness! Wow. I have always thought it would be sort of interesting to see a tornado WAY off in the distance...but this was too close for comfort. I'm glad you got home safely!

    I didn't know you were a storm-chaser! ha. Yikes. I'd say that one was definitely too close. Good pictures though but hope you don't get any more so close.
