ReplyDeleteWell, sunflowers are my favorites so you made a hit with me right off--the grandchildren are beautiful and I know you are so proud of them.
I have ties with Memphis. Spent all my Christmases there growing up. My grandparents lived there. In fact I found an old letter from 1955 the other day from my grandmother and she made the statement, "Elvis Presley came to church." She was a member of First Assembly of God which was his home church I believe.
I was just talking to my cousin today who lives in FL --and she said that they might move back to Memphis soon. Her husband was partially responsible for bringing in the Catherine the Great exhibit etc. He worked for the Mayor's office I believe while they lived in Memphis. Then they moved to FL and opened a museum down there.

So sorry to hear about the accidents in your area. That was really tragic.
