Miss You Mom

Miss you, Mom. More each day. I love reading from your tattered Bible--the passages underlined and the notes, many from the Daily Bread devotion book.
Saw these today--
"We can endure life's wrongs because we know that God will make all things right."
"In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Phil. 4:6)
Let Christ be first in your thoughts in the morning and last in your thoughts at night.
(Looking at the date on this one, you had cancer and didn't know it yet)--Your troubled heart will be filled with hope and confidence as you realize there is meaning and purpose for everything in the world when you live for Him. ---
On this Mother's Day as I look back, You did live for Him each day and taught to live also for Him.
Love you

  2. Brenda, this is a wonderful tribute to your mom. It really touched my heart. I have my dad's Bible, and a notebook with little treasures of great meaning. Your mom lives on in your mind, and heart.
Have a wonderful day, and Happy Mother's Day to you also, and thank you so much for your visit. God Bless you.

  3. Today is always hard knowing how much she loved our luncheons. She was so fun, I smile when I see this picture knowing the next one Ella is pulling her hair!

  5. There is no better gift a mother can give to her children as a love for God's Word. Your precious Momma was successful.

I hope your day was filled with love and joy.
