Kind hearts are quietly kind. And they are especially kind at church. They understand that perhaps the neediest person they'll meet all week is the one standing in the foyer or sitting on the row behind them in worship ( Max Lucado)
A church is comprised of people who have finally realized that they are sinners and have banded themselves together to do something about it. If God's love is in us, we are going to love what He loves. This includes loving His dear family. That's why it is foolish to say yes to Jesus and not to His church. (Adrian Rogers)
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Gal. 6:10

I love the quotes and scripture.. and reminder. We often loose sight of these things, why it is important to go to church and that we all are needy and sinners. We are not perfect, we should love one another always. We should always reach out to others.

And I am thankful for the family of Christian bloggers I have met. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI always loved that song, "Blest Be the Tie that Binds". In my small church when I was growing up, we'd hold hands in a big circle around the church and sing it". Thanks for the memories...

Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the comments abot my blog and the Iowa pictures. I appreciate it very much. Iowa was so very beautiful to me...or maybe it was just a much needed break from the work in our fields. Whatever, the beauty kept flying by my car window.
Amen. I can't imagine my life without being in a loving caring church. Thank you for sharing this post.
